MITERA HOSPITAL
NST – Cardiotocography
The project involved the creation of a new NST (Cardiotocography) unit, where cardiotocography examinations are performed for expectant mothers approaching childbirth. Following the complete demolition of two existing areas—a former newborn presentation room and the visitors’ changing rooms—the new NST unit was constructed.
The design aimed to create a calm and relaxing environment for expectant mothers throughout their examination. Soft shades of pink and beige were selected for the walls, flooring and interior finishes, including the medical equipment and privacy partitions. Concealed ceiling lighting and perimeter lighting were incorporated to create a contemporary geometric lighting design and a soothing atmosphere.
The facility was designed to combine optimal functionality with contemporary healthcare design standards, while fully complying with all safety requirements for both patients and healthcare professionals.
